Default fuel pump & regulator choices are always a good topic

My mind is again turned to pondering fuel pump and regulator choices.

Consider this, most of us are good students of any subject we are interested in and learn through many different methods.

One excellent learning method is asking questions. Another is considering the experience of others. And another excellent lesson tool is the ability to sort through information and apply those lesson to your personal need.

All the above combined with experience and the willingness to consider something different usually produces an acceptable choice.

So, do any of you have any experience with the Quick Fuel pumps and regulators.

The combination I am building [300/327] allows the Quick Fuel replacement carb SS 585. Since Quick Fuel receives good feed back about it's carbs, it caused me to consider the fuel pumps and regulators.

What are your comments?

Product Engineering fuel pumps and you will never use anything else.
Made in the USA and their customer support is the best.
They will outlast any pump in the market.

All my dad and I use are QuickFuel carbs. I have not used one of their pumps yet. Phil sent me one this past summer but I never got a chance to install it. I did let a buddy use it when his fuel pump went out at the Topeka divisional in July. The QuickFuel pump worked flawlessly and he is still using it now on his comp car.

Michael, which QF pump? Which regulator?

I like using a bypass regulator system.

The fuel pump Phil sent and my buddy used was the 400 GPH pump. I do not know about their regulators. I will say the pumps are heavy in comparison to other pumps.
