Yeah, well other than being pretty big and heavy, just try running a faster car from the left lane while in a 71-73 fastback. You can't see a damn thing out of it and can't get a read on the other car until he is right next to you, at which time it is probably too late to drive the finish line.

Interestingly, I suspect the same is true of the new Camaros as I have heard you can't see anything out the rear of them either.

I'm old enough to remember a magazine article on the '71 fastback when it first came out and it said that trying to look to the rear was like looking through a mail slot. True, that.

Hey, I still like the car, I do have one after all.....
