House passes new legislation for veterans

I for one can vouch for how long it takes to get treatment for my husband. After 15 months he will undergo surgery for a possible kidney removal tomorrow. After 3 needle biopsies and countless CT scans, steroid treatment, they have decided that the tumor has wrapped around the tube that drains the kidney into the bladder. He has a nephrostomy bag now that he has to empty. If they had removed it 15 months ago when the needle biopsy proved inconclusive for cancer this could have been avoided. If the removal of the tumor causes to much scar tissue or cancer they will remove kidney.
