Maurice Blendheim: hockey puck on the stove... That was funny. I get myself in trouble like that all the time. Did you have to receive special training like I had to? I was a good race to attend.

John…Impressive D/S launch, that Camaro of yours leaves like it has 500 ft. lbs. The SS/K race had a pretty good turnout, they sure have come a long ways with those cars. As for the "Special Training" sometimes you just can't take the boy out of the man. Do you have a Kirkey aluminum seat for a computer chair and a wireless mouse mounted to a steering wheel too? MB.

I really enjoyed watching the shootout,,, too bad Ed had such a rough time. It was great to meet him and yes,, a couple T-shirts came back to the NW also. I'm hoping he heals quickly and gets back out there, although he gave it a valiant try with the brace and bandages on his shifting hand. That's one neat little Chevy II he has there.

Well we ended up with 10 cars. I came up short of my goal of 16 cars. Hopefully if we do this again we can get 16 cars. I had a few guys like Sean Gaffney saying they would compete in the future if we did it. Its been well documented about our troubles. We broke alot of stuff including 2 transmissions and destroying a driveshaft. I got to take a trip to the ER as well. We did not run well. We had a few guys run very well. Stephen Belanger set the bar with a .06 I believe. The part that sucks is due to all the breakage I didn't get to see the other cars run. I was at the hospital during the shootout so I didn't see one car go down the track. Gene Bichlmeier and Tim Nicholson ran great as well. Robin had a tough time getting ahold of the track. We all know how great he can run. Tony Fillipone broke an engine Thurs and could not compete. I felt so bad for him but he was in good spirits. His son did a great job in stock so that helped. Bill Z ran good as well. Thanks to all who came including Ed Fabian, Larry Wilson, Wayne Denklau. And a by g thanks to everyone who came to my pits offering to help and encouraging words. Wayne Denklau and Jon Bowman saved me without them I wouldn't have raced.
