For a 3500 lbs. low HP stocker, does it matter how tall the slick is? It's hard to find the gearset (5.38) for my 8 3/4, so I thought that could make up the difference with a smaller tire, 26" and a 4.88 gear. 318/4V N/SA. Thanks

I'm pretty sure M/T or M&H make a 26 x 9 x 15 slick. It isn't radial it's bias ply

Hoosier has some 26x9 and 28x9 slicks, but no radial, as well. Here is the chart.

The M/T 3056R is the smallest radial at 92" cir. A radial slick don't grow like a bias tire,so it's a couple hundred rpm higher than a same size bias tire.
