Post Racepak question

Hey guys this is my first time running a stocker and a car with a racepak and i need to know if on a racepak graph after a run if the driveshaft graph shows a spike during/after the shift if that indicates tire spin and if you see spikes down track on the RPM graph after the 2,3 shift if that indicates a high speed miss. Thanks just doing a little after the race troubleshooting.

Drive shaft spikes, or a jump followed by a plateau would be tire spin. Spikes or zig zags in the rpm can be several things; valve bounce, intake reversion, ignition issues, detonation, or a hole in the fuel cure to list a few.

More than likely what you are seeing is the tire unwrapping/ wrapping up around the wheel (drive shaft).

Which Racepak system are you using? If it has the accelerometer, you can use it to look at spin/hook issues also.
