Re: Sliding through the lights trying to stage
In Vegas, Etter broke before the semis and couldn't stage for the semis, not the final. That's why no runner up money because he technically didn't win the semis and make it to the final.
In Salt Lake, Lambeck ran fine in the semis winning the round and earning his way into the final round where he would collect runner up money whether he showed up or not. These are apples and oranges scenarios.
I only bring this up because there's an awful lot of "I told you so" going on from the Lamb crowd where nothing has really been proven either way other than yet another plausible scenario.
If it was me and I was broken but the car would still move, I'd stage that sucker and hope he went red. Any way you slice it, there was some type of arrangement made before the final round between Lambeck and Lamb. Only a couple of people will probably ever know if it was nefarious or innocent.
