All opinions aside about Jeff, kicking a guy when he is down, is in poor taste.

Maybe you should try racing a stick stocker sometime.

I am sure you would figure it out in a couple passes.

I could use some of your sage advice....

As far as Mr. 1320 goes it sounds to me like The pot calling the kettle black drama ............. Jeff has worked hard and long on his car and laid out some pretty darn good numbers for first time out ,,,

20 minutes to clean up a small amount of fuel, what were they doing?
The stuff evaporates faster than that. I'll bet it looked like a bunch of Cal-Trans workers, 6 supervisors and 2 guys working.

My 1st pass left some nuts that were in the trunk along with fuel from the fuel cell vent on the starting line along with heavy tire smoke in 4th. Bring on cleanup crew for 20 minutes. 2nd pass was same problem less the nuts & again 20 minute delay as NHRA checked the track & cleaned up the fuel.

D7 Tech director Ben told Rob Youngblood (as we were pitted together) that if I caused another delay, I'd be DQ'd. Rob told them we had the problem licked (or so we thought). Made 3rd run same problems, same delay.

So I spent the next few hours with a body grinder & tin snips only to find they meant what they said. The clearance is finally right (so I hope) and the vent was re-routed. Causing 30-45 minutes in delays is understandably frustrating and a burden on those racers following me so I certainly understand. I just wish I could have had time for a T-N-T but I wanted to make the last D7 race of the year. Sorry to those that had to endure the delays!

What a stand up guy. Jeff says all this and still he gets dinged for being a human. We have all been in rush and left things undone. I was working the starting line at Pacific Raceway many years ago (briefly), a socket fell out of a guys car near the starting line. When we had a break I took it to him. I asked him if he had lost something. His reply was "been looking for that". We had a laugh and went about our business. Humans make mistakes and most of us understand why. If Jeff could, he would probably like to restart the weekend. I say "Way to go Jeff."

When you qualify for a super stock race your posts might have some weight or
validity. Until that time why don't you stay on a bracket site where some one might care about all your grand adventures & BS
