Default Re: What Shifter do you run?

I posted previously about the PPP shifter.

I have had the Turbo Action, Hurst Quarter stick, and the PPP. All worked great but the PPP is some much easier to use. I have add all three in either electric, air or manual.

Unless you have used a PPP it is really hard to understand why so many people like it. Had I known early on how great the shifters are, I would have purchased one from the start.

Just my .02

I fully agree. I have had others too. Didn't what the big deal was until I bought one.

I have both PPP and Turboaction........for your straightforward reverse pattern the Turboaction is great for my Lil Red and Gremlin.....it also was fine with my 70 challenger....for a clean nuetral tranny like in the Dragpak the PPP is really nice, the Turbo action used with a clean nuetral tranny is touchy, and if you aren't careful you can do the 1-3 thing...used in the dakota.....it has a different faceplate, and works but it can be tricky... Long for stick of course..70 challenger..too bad they don't make one for a auto, that would be a best seller for sure.

I can't speak for non-mopar uses, or non-driver shifted uses...IE air shifted, electric shift......others can chime in.

Eric

I too use the Triple P Shifter, they are great people to deal with. It is a shame their stuff is so good ,you rarely have to talk with them. Again had I known how good the product was I could have saved quite a bit of money....
