PAC has very good products and are good people. In 2011 I did not have their sticker (I really don't like stickers) and they paid me for having the product. I now use their springs on all my fleet.

I mentioned Nitroplate earlier. The owner, Kevin Cradduck, is a racer and a huge supporter of sportsman racers! Many of whom are his customers.
Kevin is sending a box of Nitroplate shirts and gift certificates for each A/Stick and A/SA Competitor! We thought it would be a nice way to show support for all that entered those two classes at Indy. The Certificate is good for 75.00 off of Header Coating! The shirts are cool! Thanks to Kevin and Nitroplate!

I just noticed that John Calvert is entered in A/SA. We all remember that thrilling A/S class final in 2010 between John and Jason McCormack. It is great that John, and Brent Calvert in CC/SA, are making the long trip from California.

More prizes to note! In addition to the help with the party, Jeg Is putting up a one hundred dollar gift certificate for Jegs to the winner of A Stick and A/SA.
You know, we all know Jegs gives in to many racers and racers in terms of support. For that reason, I did not approach him at all for additional support. I mean, he gives at the office if you know what I mean. Sponsoring sportsnats, contingency, etc. Last year, I was describing the whole concept of the challenge classes at Indy and he offered to help immediately! I think that is pretty cool! Thanks Jeg!

Just made the purchase of our prizes for the winners of the A/SA and A/S Challenge. This year is something new. A brand new Kentucky Bourbon called Calumet Farm! Around the top of the bottle is a list of the KY Derby winners who came from Calumet Farms! Since we are not bourbon drinkers, I had to take the word of the guy at the liquor store, that it is very good bourbon!
As you know Caleb McFarland has won A/S for the past two years, and he was not 21 and could not even (legally) drink! Is Caleb old enough this year to imbibe? Or are we going to have a new winner this year?? Looking forward to seeing everyone next week! Patsy & Larry |

I will pay $100 to the winner of A/S and A/SA, $50 to the runner up. I will double that if it's a Mopar, I will pay Kevin Helms $500 if he can finally win A/S, and if he beats McFarland, I will add $100. Cash.

And Larry, if I remember correctly, his Birthday rolls through Indy and he should be turning 21.

I can attest to Calumet Farm bourbon. A very fine one it is. Another good one to add if there are extra funds would be Angel's Envy. Enjoy. Cheers from Shanghai |

VanPelt, I believe Angel's Envy was last year's choice!
Oh, BTW, we have some Graves Co., KY sipping clear stuff to enjoy at the party this year compliments of a fan! Just poured up last night! Who is going to be brave enough to try it??? Last edited by Larry Hill; 08-21-2013 at 10:57 AM. |
