Gents, I have been sucessfully running only 3 reverse frictions in my glide, with no slippage/creep forward issues while on the brake and 2step at up to 3,500. I have it apart right now... I'm tempted to try only 2 reverse frictions.
Converter flashes to 6000... Obviously only 2 frictions wont hold the full converter flash without a 2-step, but with low 2 step RPM (2,000-3,500) Im thinking it may hold on the brake with only 2 frictions ... Thoughts, or experience with this?? |

I have been running 2 for years. Never a problem. Haven't found any real difference there though. If you have enough pump pressure to keep from burning the band 2 frictions will hold. I have launched as high as 5 k on the 2 step.
