The Thomas car started out in red as "the judge". The blue scheme continued to around 1970 then onto the green and red as it stands today. The race win date will give an indication of the paint scheme change.
The photo was taken by Joe Stevens, Detroit dragway. There are some nice photo's on his site for sale. |

This was an original BO29 I bought it from Alan Halsey from Red Bank A/P in NJ. I paint it Black and updated the suspension and eventually sold it to Richard Beshore (worst decision I made), who won the second Hemi challenge with in 2002. Ironic note I build another SS/AA car (not original) and sold that to Jerry Jenkins, who won the 3rd Hemi challenge with it.
