1967 us nationals
hi everyone, i had a very close friend that won the F/SA class at the nationals at indianpolis indiana in 1967 in a 1965 plymouth barracuda the color "robin egg shell blue" his name was Ed Collier and the car was called "precious" and had a picture of the dog "precious" painted in yellow on the doors of the car, i have the the black & white winning photo of him in victory lane with the trophy, and i also have a champion spark plug add from a 1967 car craft magazine listing his name also as the winner, sadly Ed was killed in the early 90's he ran in Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee and in other states , hoping you fellows might have a picture of the car or in the back ground, the car was later painted purple with just the name "precious " on the doors no dog. i am just trying to find anything i can on him and his car, anything would be helpful. thanks much for your time.......

You could try the September 8, 1967 edition of the National Dragster.
