Need advice please!
I have a 1970 Nova, 350/TH200. The TH200 and convertor are new, and the case has the JW Bell bellhousing. The old TH200 had a stock case. It sure looks like i need to switch flexplates from my current 168 tooth to the smaller 153. The flexplate to bellhousing clearance is really tight inside the JW Bell and i just can't believe it should be that tight. I hope someone on here has "been there done that" and can give me some advice. Thanks for any help or comments. Kurt Gross

i have had some older jw bells that were very close, had to put in my mill and clearance . as far as i know 200s were all based around 153 but you would think the aftermarket would support either combo, call jw, ask for john or tracey.

Thanks vsrc, and you were correct. It fits but is tight. It is designed to accept both sizes. At first it sure looked like no way but it works.
