![]() ![]() This is the former Modified with Bud Yancer as engine builder. Bud is my engine builder. They had the car at Indy when NHRA killed the class. They used to race the car at the now defunct Phoenix Raceway Park (renamed Speed World) and I used to stand behind the car and watch that Moroso mechanical tach bury itself on the launch and pull the front wheels maybe 6" off the ground on launch and into second and even third. I think it was 288 CID in E/MP? I need to ask him tomorrow. This car had more influence on me having a race car than any 100 cars combined.
