Daryl,
Rufus 'Brooklyn Heavy' Boyd In 1970, the car was running in Pro/Stock. By the end of the year, 'Brooklyn Heavy' put it up 'For Sale'. The car was prepped by Joe Jill of 'Speedwin Automotive'. I 'do not' believe this was the same car as the S & K Hemi Dart 'The Avenger' that 'The Mutt Brothers' owned. ![]() Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 12-31-2012 at 12:46 PM. |

Paul
You have just thrown me a curve ball with the below post. I thought it would be the same car. If not, where did this one come from????.What leads you to think he had 2??. As you know "Heavy" usually bought high profile cars for his racing stable. liteweight Quote:

A few things about that '68 Hemi Dart photo now with 'Pro' on windshield...
- Those rear wheels & tires look pretty large to fit the stock wheel wheels...so did they split the wheel houses or cut the trunk floors for wheel tubs. - Didn't someone say earlier on that your L023 had a funky looking hood scoop on it before the restoration. - I can't make out the lettering on the door, anyone. |

Another shot of the "Old Trapper" '68 Dart,,, at Seattle in 1980, against Ralph Van Paepeghem's '66 Nova.

Does anyone remember which '68 Hemi Dart this one was... I seem to remember a few people here talking about two being sold out of western Canada... One was the Old Trapper car sold out of Chinook Chrysler... The other one being the Demented Dart... Quote:
