S & K Speed Shop
Route 109 North Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York

Out by me. I saw them run that SS/B Hemi Dart at
New York National Speedway and WestHampton Dragstrip.

Owners, Bryan Higgins and Ernie Krieg. It was an original car
that they got from the factory in April 1968.

By their own admission, the Dart was 'cumbersome', and they
switched over to a 1969 S/S AMX in early-1969, and sold the
Hemi Dart in late-1969.

Here at the 1968 Super Stock Magazine Nationals (New York National Speedway)
The Dart is not lettered with 'The Avenger', and has black rimmed
rear wheels.

Daryl,

Misinformation, as they sold the Hemi Dart in 1969, not 1968.

What's that silver thing hanging out from under the front bumper of the S&K '68 Hemi Dart...and that is still one cool looking L023 in my books!

Daryl,

This is the S & K Dart 'The Avenger' in late-1969

Now owned by Ronald Lyles (The Mutt Brothers) of Brooklyn, New York.

In late-1969, the SS/B NHRA record at that time was around 10.40.
The Mutt Brothers Hemi Dart was running around 10.90's at that time.

Liteweight,
How about a list of the people you have talked too and the L023 cars you thought it might be in your cross country travels...maybe next year is the year it all falls into place, don't forget to make your new years resolution.
