Check toe in through the front end travel. In A bodies, the toe in gets severe after so many inches of lift, so a snubber can help. Otherwise there could be a lot of tire drag or steering when coming down from the wheelie. You should be able to get around 6" or so with modest toe in change per inch of travel.
