Default pontiac 400 build - what stock heads with slight upgrades

What pontiac heads to be ran on a 1970 400ci block now I have #17 castings , was being lead to #670 castings .That is my question for when I take the motor out of the x body ventura to look towards 11's at dragstrip 1/4 mile . I was told to come to this site from Yellowbullet most of them are motivated for edelbrock or kauffman aluminum heads - I am looking to save some coin to put other places too . http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=520441 Thank you for info to get me here .

6X-4 or 6X-8 for low compression will work fine or a 16 head for hi compression motor

X2

* Listen to Jeff , this is a good site ... You need to set a budget on what you want to spend to go into the 11's ... You don't need alum heads , etc .. Check it out ...
