2014 Hemi Reunion

The weather is historically very good through september here.

We did have some rain last year, but the rest of the month was steller.

I am putting it out there that I will host the 2014 event and anything in between then and now that the racers and enthusiasts need. With the cost of venues being what they are these days, we need to do everything we can to support the hobby!

We would gladly help with this event any way we can. The facility will already be paid for, so that will help lower the costs.

I also have a license to use the name Mopar and will have no problem getting the permission to use Hemi for this event.

We will also have direct lines to the folks at Mopar about bringing displays and whatever else we need to the show.

Josh, glade you are interested in promoting this future 426 Hemi Anniversary event...but are you talking about holding it this year or next year...also I always thought that a "central location" like Indy or Gateway would work out better for everyone out east and out west...I guess all that is left to do is work out the details & dates on some of these models.

What about us poor '64 Max Wedge owners?

It sounds like there is some doubt that you can get enough Hemi cars together to make the event viable. What about making it a Max Wedge/Hemi combo show and race therefore doubling your chance for a large field?

Jim, forgot about those but I just assumed they would fit in with the other 64's attending this show...but it looks like these separate shows probably won't happen...maybe just have ONE BIG SHOW in 2014 if all goes well after the end of this month, remember the Mayan thing, lol.
