180, 4bbl...
Too big and heavy... 20 lbs is the bottom V 8 class.. You can make "U" with a Firebird.

1977 was 2 bbl only.
1978 301 4 bbl was available in Catalina 2 door 19.77, 4 door 19.95, Grand Prix 2 door 16.09, 2 door LJ 16.07, Grand Am 2 door 17.82, 4 door 17.99 all rated at 180 hp available in almost all bodies in 1979 check out the # 20 qualifier at the Gators 20 2075 Q/SA Don Himes, Port Charlotte FL, '79 LeMans 12.945 13.80 -0.855

I was looking @ S/S...Didn't think 77 had a 4 bbl. Glen, Wouldn't hurt at all to put a 350 or 400 in that car..
