Have to be a 267 to run U. There was no 305 2bbl available in 1980 in a Camaro.

It's a 229, but I think he is going to try the 267.

Jim,
Lee was at S. Ga. a few weeks ago testing. At that time it was a v/6 that he got from Pete. I gave him a crank & one head I had laying around for the 267. Correct me if I am wrong , I was wrong one time before but I found out later I was right.

My mistake. I would be making it a 1979 and that thing will fly. At least fly for us u/sa types

Currently V6, and yes the 305 would be the better route no question.

thats what i was thinking, but there is always write a letter get it competitive route which would be a lot cheaper in the long run.
