My father Kenny Rose had the opportunity to buy this car in 1967 or 68 for $1,500 as a roller. According to him, it was parked in an alley near Kenny Warren's apartments. Dad told me that he was too much into building his C/Gas 55 Chevy with a Hemi to afford buying it. Dad did purchase a Hilborn system from Kenny Warren. I have the complete manifold & injectors with stacks, possibly from this very car. Dad also said that he saw the Logghe Stamping blueprints of the Virginia Twister FC in Warren's home. Dad often wondered whatever became of this car, of course wishing he had bought it!

The real story in the picture of the "Virginia Twister" (post #392, above) might be the '64 Plymouth convertible in the background. That's Charlie Wernert's (daily-driver) Stage-III Max-wedge 4-speed car...

What'd they make, maybe 4-5 of those?

I think 1 '64 Plymouth Max Wedge conv was built. I know the guy who owns it now, he restored my '63 Max conv.

Cool! Dark blue, light blue (bench-seat) interior. Charlie (who lived right next door to me at the time) took delivery of it right after he went to work for IBM... and drove it every day on his costumer-routes.

Any chance you can post up some pictures?
