Default small block ford windage tray?

Just wondering if it is a good idea to run a windage tray in a small block ford stocker? Are there any pros or cons with this?

I have an MPG Racing Heads tray in mine, no cons that I know of.

See if you can find a old Mopar 360 they were real cheap when new. Slot the bolt holes to match the Ford main bearing bolt spacing. Cut some of the metal sections out and replace with coarse wire screen.

There is company in Fl as I remember that makes all kinds of crank scrapers the look good. The answer to you question is yes can be worth as much as the wind age tray!
