To add to what Pat said about power output.
We did a test and the 7 box would run a higher RPM with a wider plug gap before a spark induced miss. This test was done on a high compression ratio Comp type engine. I have one good used 7 Al and 1 brand new one I would be willing to sell. PM me for contact info. pictures available for e-mailing
