Don,t forget known good vs. new...........

While working at the dealership all of the good techs had known good parts vs. new..... Sometimes the electronic parts out of the Parts Dept. in a factory sealed box didn't work....

With the QC we have today, new doesn't mean good...........

The problem is not the lack of quality control , but the american business allowing this foreign junk to be passed off under the pretense of a quality item and enhancing the bottom line. I always check the center conductor with a good ohm meter before installation..........

Q/C...HAHAHAHA

I bought a set of Autolite plugs, took them out the box to gap them and found a plug that had no threads..........

I think that Autolite wanted me to weld them in????????

Just ask anybody that works on his or her racecar and they will tell you that no matter how expensive or trick the part, EVERTHING has to checked....

Not only is Q/C dead, it's starting to smell…..
