Your memory is better than mine. I remembered the letters but didn't remember where the eliminator/class slash should have been. Thanks for the clarification.

How an embarrassingly bone stock Nash Metro got put in an experimental class is another question. Yes, it was ugly; yes, it was ridiculous; yes, it looked like something 15 clowns would come rolling out of - but my parents allowed me to buy since they figured I couldn't hurt myself too bad and besides it would even bark the 600-13s in second gear.

My early attempts at speed shifting took out a spider gear which turned out to be a huge ordeal to get repaired in rural Missouri.

I don't know who's Volkswagen this is, seen it posted in one of the CR photo albums...but it's a cute little bug.
