Pete,,,,,,

Great 'photo finds',,,

The Original 'Hemi Hunter' Barracuda,,,,,
Colony Chrysler-Plymouth, Plymouth, Michigan
SS/BA

Not sure if this is the same car Dean Nicopolis (Northville, Michigan)
ran for Gratiot Auto Supply in 1969,,,,,,, 'The Gratiot Auto Supply Special'

Which was later sold to Sox & Martin in late-1970.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I sent you a PM, I thought you meant the Dick Oldfield
'Good Guys' Dart,,,,,,,,,not the 'McCollum & Bolland' Dart,,,,,,

My Bad,,,,,,,,Paul

McCollum & Bolland,,,,,,,,out of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania (southwestern part of the state).
Don Bolland, had a machine shop 'D & D Competition Engines'.

Photo must be be from late-May or 1st week of June, 1968.
See 11.10 on the Dart window,,,,,,,,,that was the June 1968 SS/BA National Record,
held by Larry Cooper out of West Monroe, Louisianna, with his Hemi Dart 'The Hustler'

Damn near every SS/BA Hemi car could run well under the record,,,,,,,,,,,,
as Mopar controlled who and when could run under it.

Anyone have a picture of Joe Ralph Thompson's Dart?
If I remember correctly it was solid red (most of his cars were) and driven by Gene Graham.
Thanks in advance.

Paul,,, spill the beans to us about this upcoming book! I've picked up a nice collection of pictoral and "coffee table" books over the years, and certainly wouldn't mind another. Whats it going to be about and what about a possible release date.
