Bob Gipson's 65 Chevelle with the 283 and REF headers always sounded really mean driving around the pits anyway. I thought it was cool.
It was a "really stock" as in street car, but one year at Pheasant Run I went to the Bloomington Gold deal to check it out since I live in St. Charles. There was an early 60's Corvette driving in with a 283 with 2 x 4s. I think 270hp? Not sure, but it sounded like it had a modern day stocker cam in it from the factory! Must have been King DooDoo if you went to the local hot dog stand in that when it was new! I was impressed!

Todd Frantz's Chevy II with Mike Keown power is the best sounding class car I have ever heard. That thing tries to blow holes in the concrete with those fenderwell headers! Dave Walther's Camaro is a close 2nd....
