I recall Dave Wren getting one of these Hemi convertibles as well. It was referred to as the "Get Ray Allen" car at the time. I think it was red,. with a white top. I may be wrong. Dave is still around. Not sure how it fared racing against Ray though. JimmieC. |

Does anyone in the NJ area know how to get in touch with Frank Brenniser? He had purchased my '69 Camaro SS/EA, and later my SS/GTA Monte Carlo. He owned and ran a junk yard at the time. Any help would be appreciated.

Didn't he rename the Monte to the:The Dismantler"?? Was that the same car that became: Smooth Operator (Gricco)? Speaking of S/S Monte Carlos' I spotted Hoffman's old S/S Monte (areo rear window) at a Sunoco station in Avenel. N.J. this past week end. It looked like a fine bred race horse that has been put out to pasture. JimmieC |

Mike Gricco's Smooth Operator was a different car. If anyone knows how to reach Frank, please let me know. |

Jake,
#1 Modification On the rear back window. It was 'double-thickness' {.500"} glass instead of the standard 1/4" thickness. I believe the weight of the 'special glass' was #52 lbs. instead of #26 lbs. Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 11-26-2014 at 07:54 AM. |
