IHRA Econo-Modifieds were sort of like super stockers. Gene Fulton and Mark Osborne both had killer Coupes back in the late eighties.

Not the fastest, but unique were the '67s of Jimmy Lovallo SS/EA (Stingray) and Phil Cocuzza SS/DA (convert hardtop). 427 tri-power. Saw Jimmy's at his old Shell station in Stamford CT. back in '83 or so.
