I've had very good luck with Hollywood's polish. It has a higher talc content than most ,so it dries quickly and cleans off easier too. I've been using for years when I had show cars and it does a great job. My 2 cents.

The best deal that I have found is take the wheels to the nearest truck stop that polishes chrome or aluminum and have them do it. They come out looking great. No polish that I have used even comes close.

I use JAX Wax metal polish (lavender color). Best metal polish I have ever used so far.

Is that the purple metal polish? Expensive but apparently very good stuff. Good for weld wheels?

I have been using the Smith Brite for about 12 years and love it. They offer two different compounds.

Yes the JAX metal polish we use is a purple color. I haven't bought it in a while but I don't remember it being that expensive. We have Welds on our car and do use the JAX metal polish on them and it works great. It also works well on chrome bumpers.
