First of all , you will have to change that 4.56 for a 5.13 gear ; after that and all the other go fast tricks that you will pick up once you take the stocker plunge , you can play with starting line techniques

As long as the valve train will handle 5.13 gears and tires are sized accordingly. Converter seems conservative also. But you'll know more with a playback tach. I learned A LOT with my Autometer.

I footbrake, so I can't help you with the 2-step.

Short answer is Yes.... try this.. stage 1st light...pull car up to 2000 stage 2nd light push 2-step button then mash the gas.
