Now that the nonsense is over, tell us more Alex. A fast look over the site I did not run across any motorhome stuff per say.

Alex,

Alot of good info there. That is a start when dealing with the State Patrols of many states. I will be inquiring with the contacts I have in Michigan about many scenarios that can and do take place every weekend, regardless if you are a racer or not. I do not have pull, so to speak, but what I do have is alot of contacts and that is a start. I will pull my weight on this. Can I rely on others?

This is the type of thing NHRA should be helping with. I just don't know if they care enough to represent our interests.

Mr Williams, Thanks for your efforts. I'm with you. We are stuck here in Ontario.where 75 feet is legal. Canceled two trips to Michigan so far (or reconsidered not to go at least as a result)
My email inquiry to MDOT only told me who was on holidays....& a few others to try & call who are not..... I tried to call today to see if a permit can be purchased some how. The lady i got connected to on a permit department only seems to know 3 words. "nothing over 65". She wouldn't actually say if there was such a permit. Just repeats like broken record........ Something must move there over 65 ft ????? I have read there regs & looked at permit forms but not very clear & certainly not very friendly to call! May try another number tomorrow. Or am i wasting my time????

Just wondering if anyone in Michigan has heard of anything changing about these problems?

Was hoping to race alittle over there with the IHRA and NHRA but dont want to take any chances. Hoping someone has some good news about resolving this issue.

Thanks,

Andrew
