looking for correct backspacing for rear wheels 30x9 rear slick have 15x8 wheels now with 4 1/2 bs and they rub outside . put a 15x10 with 5 bs would not fit

Billy: I'm running a 69-72 Nova in stock.I run the old centerline wheels with 4-7/8 back spacing. I have about 1/2 inch clearance on the outside and about 3/4 inch on the inside. I believe you could probably run 5 inch backspacing if you needed to , depending on how low your back end of your car is. Hope this helps.

With an overall rear axle assembly width from outside the axle flange to flange of 60.5 inches I use a 10 inch rim with 6 inches of backspacing.
