The combo is a 454 big block with a victor jr intake 4150 flange and a Q jet.the 781 heads and intake were hand ported. made ok hp but looking for more. Who dose the intakes ? NO!

As to the intake work, their are numerous head porters and engine builders capable of doing the necessary work, some however are very proud of their work and their price reflects it though the additional $ won't get you an additional .01 on the time slip. That said, my advice is to call Larry Woodward aka Brandywine Cylinder Head Service. Back in the day, long before the internet and cnc'd aluminum heads, he was the guy with factory cast iron heads and he along with his step son Bruce MacDowell(deceased) have done the heads and manifolds of many fast/quick and record setting stock/super stock combos as well he has been doing my manifolds and heads for years.
