I was at Englishtown in about 1995 when Bob won his last Pro Stock event. He won it a bit by luck as I recall but it was a hugely popular win. I was in the tower for the race (not racing) watching from the Suzuki booth. We went down to the winners circle area...Bob Glidden and Rusty Wallace was also there for Ford. It was a great memory...Bob is one of my all time favorites in drag racing and I am not a Ford guy.....

I hope he makes it in......Good Luck Bob....

I always thought Bob was a class act and worked very hard to get where he was. My closest encounter with him was at Rockingham many years ago at a IHRA event. We were sharing one of those 15 foot long hog trough urinals. I did not think it would be appropiate to shake his hand, intorduce myself, or attempt to start a conversation at that time lol. I hope Bob does well. He and Lee Shepard were the standard to achieve at that time! Don Jackson

Glidden is a true, hard working racer and I wish him success at Indy.

I hope he's up to this "stress test"...that's a lot of excitement for a person with his cardiac history
