There is nothing wrong with a well set up small block dragster.

Ours is set up and we can run either the Ford or the Chevy in ours. The Ford makes a little more power but have not had it in the car yet. The Chevy will get the car well into the sub 8.4's and we are hopefull that the Ford will go 8.teensor O's...

Granted it is alot easier to get there with a big block, but I had the motors and bought a roller so trying to use what we have....

If you want to run in the sub 7.8 range then I would definatly look for a big block car.
