Keep in mind that one of the biggest reasons that race fuels get bounced in tech is contamination . It only takes a very small variance in specs to get bounced , and something as simple as a tiny amount of another brand or type of fuel in the drum or jug that you use can make the difference .

Mike,

What's the best way to store fuel for long periods? I've been told metal containers are the way to go because plastic containers allow light in to degrade the fuel, is there any truth to that theory?

Thanks,
