I have seen to have lost the part number for the valve springs on my 5.0L 85 Mustang Stocker. I was wondering what springs other guys are running on these engines. I do know that my old springs are Comp Cams products, as are my retainers & keepers. As far as I know, the 86-95 5.0L Fords should all use the same spring , which is a single. Any suggestions?

#999 outer are the heavy ones, but I've got #911 that Earle Holt suggested I try.

Yes Rory, the 911's don't need clearancing and I've run them without any issues up to 6500. The 999's are a bigger, stiffer spring, but require rocker work for clearance.
