Ray,
Are you talking about your roller cam SS/CS engine or something else? Because you don't need anything but oil for a roller.
If it's a flat tappet, get a hold of me as my shop has coatings to the cam and lifters. They have completed R&D and will soon be released. You can have race springs installed (460#'s +) and start the engine up and let it idle. No break in, no spring changes required. Applied to your parts or custom built from the shop.
