Re: NEW 1964 Savoy pictures
About 12 yrs ago during a phone conversation Carl told me the story in detail on how he set out on the "B" Camaro project with the goal of beating the Hemis. After plenty of $$, hours, and energy, he met his goal and decided he had enough. Now that he's building what he set out to beat in the first place he's proven that true drag racers never quit...they only take vacations LOL!!!
This is one REALLY NICE PIECE!!! Can't wait to see him behind the wheel again!!!

Tim, Carl's way too old to drive that piece! He will soil his pants!
Jim 'Tree, the motor is a 383 - 343hp 2 carb unit. It will run SS/JA. Then comes the HEMI! Oh Baby! Jim

When did the rules change to allow a 62 combo in a 64. GT yes but SS/JA, thats good news for me if it's true, Paul.

Re: NEW 1964 Savoy pictures
Best Engineered, Best Appearing and why not enter a few car shows while you're at it? Still trying to find something that isn't painted or polished. I'd love to see this raced without lettering, graphics or decals.
