First we need to establish a couple things.

Are you going to drive this car on the street?

Is it strictly a race car?

If you plan to drive it, you don't want a killer gear. If I had a similar car to this and planned to strictly drag race it. If it's pretty much a stock engine, you have a healthy converter and a small rear tire. A stock engine is going to peak out at about 55-5600 rpm. For a 1/4, I wouldn't run anything steeper than a 4.30. If it's an 1/8 car, you can go much steeper, you could easily run a 4.88-5.13, you'll still max your rpm out by the end of the run.
