Default Houston Repeat of couple years ago

Just saw on the NHRA site that the AZ Nats are postponed yet once again, because of the track surface. NHRA is suppose to make an announcement during the week. It kind've reminds Houston a few years ago when it rained, they ran the pros, made the sportsmans stay for the following weekend. Then guess what it rained again. We shall see what happens.

Angry Re: Houston Repeat of couple years ago

Rain or shine, I think we are in for some Anal Dilation in Houston. Check the schedule that obviously some uninformed monkey made. How are we supose to get two runs of SS, SG, TD, and SC in 2 hrs friday with SC doing burnouts accross the tree? Don't even get me started on TD's John Force burnouts to half track, and what seems like staging battles in qualifying and in every other run. ( I know, I know. These TD and TS cars are soooo much more advanced than us, it takes time to make them run right) Be prepared to get ready for class as soon as you get back to your trailer only to be put off untill after the "Pros" ( which means 7 pm). Do you think we can get each class down the track within the 15 minutes aloted? Uh, NO...It gets better. How many rounds do you think we will get in with the 1 hr time slot for those four classes on Saturday? I think they want us to get at least two in, but I'm not sure. I foresee alot of night time racing in our future. Make sure you pack enough of supplies for monday or the next weekend just in case we get a single rain shower or oil down... Yea, that never happens. What idiot decided to move this to a 3 day race and then try to pack in TF, FC, PS, PSM, TAD, TAFC, PM, Comp, SS, SG, SC, and TD given Houston's history of rain? I guess I shouldn't complain. They might decide to drop a couple of classes and we all know who that would be.
