Valve issue, combination of issues either my fault, clearances on Rocker setup and retainer choice, valve job was more aggresive and cutting of valves on this head setup, clearance I didnt like, looks like I had reason not to caused Lock condition on exhaust rocker. Confirmed by Pro Stock head guy that did our heads (independently), solved, reassembled.

See some track Saturday......

Adding second fuel filter and different alternator pulley

Zip Zap relax..........

When you get some time...enroll in a course that teaches English. And also how to type slow enough to form a sentence that can be easily understood by an average citizen of the realm like myself....

Or do you write and think in some sort of code that only Drag Pak owners can understand.......

After all these posts and blogs and
drives up and down the highways and broken stuff and missed dates ...I truly hope you make a run sometime soon.......Only probelm is it will percipitate an endless string of posts and blogs and probably more things gone wrong.

Make a run already!!!!!

What about Tex.....did he speak Hemi lingo with his Texas drawl?

Drooze....if you don't go in the 9's I will be wondering how you have the nads to post all this stuff...

You boast and spew all kinds of stuff and your right it's my choice to read it......It's a public forum....

Most people let their on track performance do the talking.......in your case their is nothing so far......Put some rubber down and make some runs and get back to us with the numbers.....

Looks like some others have laid down some numbers for you to shoot for.....

That was "Fomerly Famous Ray Cook". Even in the comp car he was good he just didn't have the power.

Yeah........nope, not gonna happen....(doing my best Dana Carvey GHB impersonation)

Or do you write and think in some sort of code that only Drag Pak
owners can understand.......

Oooopppsssss, caught me you did (doing my best Yoda Impersonation)

Well, the blog is yours to read or not.....

If Im not breaking things Im not doing them right, OUR way.

I can build something forever reliable
I can build something wicked fast

I cannot do both.

I could do something in between and sometimes I do, here I did to a point, my hands have not been in the bottom end, and thats pretty "stock" I would have loosened it up significantly.

The best running setups are a hair away from destruction.

Our valves are cut more than most would, they also will flow better than most. Our seats are cut as well, more than most would comfortably do, they as well flow massive amounts over the stock seat configuration, the castings absolutley untouched.

Our PTV clearances are closer than most would run.

Our springs are installed .020 off bind. But they have a higher rate by nearly 100 than anything anyone is running on these, in addition my full open pressure is higher.

I cant imagine I wont break something, all I need this motor for is 3 nationals....then it goes on the shelf.

Next motor is already underway.

missed dates

We still have built a legal car in less time than any other DP team. By nearly a month if you count it at Saturday.

Im pretty proud me and the old man pulled it off. Had the bottom end not gone, OR had he not been in the hospital with pneumonia and clots in Jan, and had my son not been in the hospital 10 or 12 days I spent with him in Cincy, we would have made it.....what was more Important ?

Well run already and were gonnnaaaa gooo fffffffaaaaaaaassssssttttt

(Ok Ill be happy with 10.3 on the first 5 full passes, Ive been told Im an idiot by people that know everything weve done, but I would preffer to be more conservative than their gracious estimates)
