PTV contact? Ask Jason Line about it. He won his very first National event at BIR with his Buick GN. Upon tear down, it was noticed that there was PTV contact and his win was taken away.

Wasn't your new cam ground with a 4* advance already?

A note confirmed by Bruce B.

PTV Contact is NOT a DQ, it USED to be , it is NO LONGER. That when DURATION was in the mix.

#24 Is BACK Together and Ready for Testing.

Valve issue, combination of issues either my fault, clearances on Rocker setup and retainer choice, valve job was more aggresive and cutting of valves on this head setup, clearance I didnt like, looks like I had reason not to caused Lock condition on exhaust rocker. Confirmed by Pro Stock head guy that did our heads (independently), solved, reassembled.

See some track Saturday......

Adding second fuel filter and different alternator pulley

Zip Zap relax..........

I understood that the way they interpret the rules today. If the valve makes a notch in the piston, it would not be allowed.
Years ago with the hemi car we would put a worn out set of valve springs on the motor.
Do a few burnouts with the car. Then take the head off grind the valves, put the real springs on. And go racing, It made it hard to exchange heads, as the notches were head specific. That was when they checked for duration and overlap.

Yeah I heard that here.

I tipped a valve and I called Bruce to see if I was going to have to ?

He said not an issue.

So I wont worry about it

He said that was more an issue "previously" and it would have been a DQ when they checked duration etc.

Hammers work too Im sure Art

When you get some time...enroll in a course that teaches English. And also how to type slow enough to form a sentence that can be easily understood by an average citizen of the realm like myself....

Or do you write and think in some sort of code that only Drag Pak owners can understand.......

After all these posts and blogs and
drives up and down the highways and broken stuff and missed dates ...I truly hope you make a run sometime soon.......Only probelm is it will percipitate an endless string of posts and blogs and probably more things gone wrong.

Make a run already!!!!!

What about Tex.....did he speak Hemi lingo with his Texas drawl?

Drooze....if you don't go in the 9's I will be wondering how you have the nads to post all this stuff...

You boast and spew all kinds of stuff and your right it's my choice to read it......It's a public forum....

Most people let their on track performance do the talking.......in your case their is nothing so far......Put some rubber down and make some runs and get back to us with the numbers.....

Looks like some others have laid down some numbers for you to shoot for.....
