"Lots of stuff comes through Barrett-Jackson that was never OEM. They are in the business of making money off people's fantasies, not historical correctness. I have a copy of a document from GM that shows the first order for cowl induction hood stampings was issued 8/12/68, almost a month and a half after the end of the 1968 production year. Yeah, they exist, but they didn't come off the assembly line that way. "
