Upon inspecting my recently tore down engine I am finding the piston skirts scuffed up a little more than I would like to reassemble as is. Are there any tricks to cleaning up the scuffs without damaging the pistons further or am I better off sending them in to be coated at a place like Calico?
Thanks, Chad |

Chad we tore down an engine with around 800 passes on it that had Calico coated bearings in it...they looked as though they had never been installed! I will only run the coated stuff from now on!
