Can the 360 EFI Engine in the Dodge Drag Pack Cars be used in SS/GT as a legal combo? If it can be used what kind of management system can be used? Current HP factor is good.

Absolutely!.....In fact my 96 Magnum is rated at 278, while the new Magnum with higher compression, aluminum heads and that intake that is just a bit taller than your average bears...275...You will need a fast system the MP/AEM will not work to the best of my knowledge.....You can run a monster scoop in GT can't you?

Been thinking about this myself! but i would go with like the combo i run now in the Avenger. 318,340,360 with a carb!!.. but can you buy these new Challengers just a roller?? anyone know.

Nope, nor as BIW.....unless you have inside strings, I know a guy who MIGHT be able to in the future, after he wrestles his from them. I WISH they would, there is a Fiberbody in the works, and I think Suncoast has their glass/carbon body done, it should be....was close last I talked to them. But obviously not for this use.....
Otherwise look on Racing Junk, there was a shell there for a while, Or, Gut down an SE, 22,000 for the base car pull everyting youll get at least 5-6k for the running gear. Engine Trans, Rear diff and front suspension. There are occasionaly "rebuildables" on Fleabay....last one went for 5k...but wow it was a rollover I think....trashed shell wise. On a used one you wont get as much for the running gear I wouldnt think....maybe Im wrong. Youre going to change ALL the suspension on an SE anyway.....nothing upfront is any good, and the IRS has got to go, so the only good it does as a roller is to get it into your shop to tear down ![]() Ive seen light hit SE's go for 10-12..... |
