I think IHRA did that so people like Sid would have something to bitch about!!!

I do think this was all explained in the beginning of 2009 before the season started ? I agree with Chip and others that it gave others who couldn't afford to attend 6-8 races a chance to win... Do you think NHRA
and Nascar shootout's had anything to do with IHRA using it... Yes, and it has made things very interesting .... I think it will get even better this year if Scotty Wins.... Why should you have to travel thousands of miles if you don't have too... I do think they should look at a min. of 2/3 races for the year going forward........... Time will tell, but those are the RULES ...

Ok....if you don't attend four divisionals'; you loose your points at the end of the year, but you can theoretically race two races and be a national champion....Sorry, doesn't work for me
